A family farm that grows beetroot

Gdański Burak is a farming family. The farm has passed from one generation to the next, and today we turn beetroot from our own fields into ready-to-use products for food service and retail.

From sowing to delivery

We sow in spring, tend the crop in summer and harvest in autumn. We cook, cut and pack the beetroot from our fields and deliver it to customers in our own refrigerated trucks.

We combine traditions handed down through the generations with modern growing methods. We work with respect for the soil and the environment, care about biodiversity and make sure the land stays productive for years to come.

Why a family business

When you call us, you talk to the owners. We are personally responsible for quality, timing and every delivery, which makes regular cooperation easy to arrange.

We are guided by what running a family farm teaches: trust, responsibility and a fair approach to customers and partners.

Why beetroot

A natural source of folate and potassium
Beetroot is a source of folate, potassium and manganese. It also contains fibre, and its deep colour comes from a natural pigment, betanin.
One vegetable, many uses
Borscht, beetroot sides, relishes, salads, carpaccio, beetroot fries and kvass. Few ingredients are as versatile.
Colour on the plate
The deep red of beetroot brightens up salads, starters and sides.
Less prep work
Boiling, cooling, peeling and cutting beetroot takes hours. With a ready product, all that is left is serving.
